Okay so for some of you who doesn't know what the shemurr is Deepavalii.. Its basicly an Indian New Year.. Or The Festival Of Lights.. Or so lah.. Hehee!
Anyways during this time we Indians are sooo Busy! Firstly we adies have to go clothes shopping.. Yeah it might sound fun.. But trust me.. ITS NOT!! We have to find for Punjabi suits or Lengs's or Saree's... THEN We have t find matchig Bangles and Bindi! ARGH
Then...Theres the house,,, -_-..EVERY part of the house has to be Cleaned!!
Even the cupboard -.- Like what the shemurr
Okay okay.. Deepavalii my be hectic but there is a bright side to it..
For starters.. EVERYONE Gets money!! YAY!!
Maybe if you get it from your aunt or uncle it might just be like 5-10 ringgit.. BUT..If you're getting it from your Grandparents or your cousin's grandparents... O M G The amunt is between 50-100 ringgit! Woo Hoo!
Then theres always muruku making and Deepavalii cookies are da bomb!
They are hectic to make but the deliciousness of it is AMAZONG!
And then the best part of the first and second day of Deepavalii is that...
We visit so many relatives!! And OMG the food during Deepavalii is just OMG!!
We have chiken curry,samba and rendang.. okay for those of you who dont know whhat Rendang is.. its sorta like curry but its not Rendang is a dry style.. So yeah.. Anyways then we have Fish curry ad fried fish and Prawn curry and sambal and and well the list goes on and on and on...
But see we Indians love to eat spicy food.. but um.. I'm a pansy when it comes t spicy food I can't eat spicy food at all! I would just die! Yeah.. I'm a disgrace to all Indians heeheee!
Anyways.. even my babe is celebrating Deepavalii! YAY!
